Caspian Sea on northern side of Iran is a sea with 371,000 km2 which is surrounded by five countries. These countries are Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and IRAN. In this essay we are going to talk about some specifications of a side where is located in Iran, I mean the southern side of this great sea.
Some geologists count Caspian Sea as the biggest lake in the world but some of them as smallest sea. So, whatever it is, Caspian Sea is a largest water area surrounded by the land. One of the important rivers of IRAN which is called Atrak river is being poured into the sea.

Provinces
On southern shoreline of Caspian Sea three province are located. Gloestan, Mazandaran and Gilan are that three provinces. Up until 1376 AH or 1997 AD Golestan and Mazandaran used to be just one province. After that, they divided into two separate provinces.
Climate
The weather is usually humid in southern cities of the Caspian Sea. In terms of climate this region has been categorized as moderate and moderate climate. Traditional houses in these cities have been made considering the weather type.
Productions
Caspian Sea is one of the important oil and gas resources in the world and another popular, rare and expensive product is a kind of fish which is called Caviar. This kind of fish has been fishing out of Caspian Sea’s water for many years.
Natural tourism attraction
The southern shoreline of Caspian Sea, which is located in Northers side of IRAN, has so many natural attractions especially forests. The forests like Noshahr (IRAN’s Amazon), Ancient Forest of Lajim, Dalkhani forest in Ramsar, Dohezar, Sehezar, multi-color forest of Umal, Tilekolar, Arfa deh, Alimestan, Rash forests of Savadkooh, Hirkani forests of Mazandaran and et cetera, are all the natural attractions which fascinates all tourists who love forest. In addition, there are several waterfall and cascades inside the forest that we have mentioned here.
